What to do right now

You are the calendar, the reminder, the consequence tracker, the form returner, the appointment keeper, and the emotional regulator for the entire household. While your own ADHD brain is drowning in exactly those tasks. The invisible load is real and it is unsustainable. One thing you can offload this week. Just one. Find it and let it go.

The invisible load is crushing. Every appointment, every form, every school communication, every medication refill, every routine. All held in your head while your ADHD head drops things.

Your brain

Being the household executive function while having impaired executive function yourself is a structural impossibility that most ADHD families face. The load is not sustainable at this level.

What this did

You cannot do it all. One thing this week that can be automated, delegated, or dropped. A shared calendar, an auto-refill, a standing order. Each system that holds something is one less thing in your overloaded working memory.
